Ragini & Brandon | Berkeley City Club | Berkeley, California

Ragini and Brandon | 07.02.11 from Seaglass Cinema on Vimeo.

On a beautiful Saturday afternoon at the timeless Berkeley City Club, Ragini and Brandon were wed. They personally crafted a multicultural interfaith ceremony that blended Indian, Hindu, Jewish, and Christian traditions and involved their families on both sides.

This video was shot by Kevin Yau and Georgia Yeh. It was edited by Kevin Yau. Also, many thanks go to David Choi for the soundtrack “This is a Way.” View the wedding photographs on Anna Wu Photography’s blog: Ragini & Brandon.

From Here to Eternity | A Collaborative Styled Shoot

Styled Shoot Highlights | 03.13.11 from Seaglass Cinema on Vimeo.

It was the middle of March when a group of wedding vendors came together in the Hamilton Ballroom in downtown San Francisco. They had the idea to create a beautiful, sweet, and elegant styled shoot– not a real wedding, but an inspiration shoot– and to do it on two different budgets. The luxury tables would feature cascading centerpieces and gold-rimmed glasses while the more modest tables would be a variation on the same theme but utilize savvy tricks such as a bold red tablecloth that would bring a lot of punch without a lot of cost.

Whatever the details, the theme of the day was collaboration. A group of wedding vendors had an idea and came together to bring it to life. And they pulled it off beautifully. View part one of the 3-part blog series on Anna Wu Photography’s website, and look out for more to come.

Ting & Phil | Mandarin Oriental | Las Vegas, Nevada

Ting and Phil | 04.30.11 from Seaglass Cinema on Vimeo.

She made sure her makeup was waterproof, because she knew she would need it to be. Sure enough, the day started with many quiet, beautiful moments in which Ting would fight back tears– when Phil gave her a surprise gift with a beautifully written notecard, and when her mother gave her a gift from her grandmother, who had passed. But as always with Ting and Phil, the quiet, poignant moments were quickly punctuated with laughter and Ting’s signature smile– the sweetest smile with a crinkled nose and that adorable grin.

It was a beautiful, if windy, day. Ting and Phil were married at the Mandarin Oriental hotel surrounded by Las Vegas’ beautiful new City Center. If you watch closely, you’ll notice that Ting gets to wear three amazing dresses on her wedding day– the first two gifts from her maid of honor Mimi– and the third a beautiful traditional dress. And of course, Phil looks very handsome himself with two different suits to match.
