Back in high school, Dan, a lowly sophomore with a minivan, tried to muster up his courage to talk to Olivia, the beautiful senior. It was months before he got past the eye contact and they finally spoke, when he discovered she had actually been doing the same. They knew they would be together from then on. They were together through college, through long distance, through the California Coast road trips, and through lots of growing up.
Ten years later, on a sunny day in September, Olivia and Dan tied the knot at the gorgeous Beaulieu Garden in Napa Valley.

If ever there was a unique spin on the classic fairytale of a wedding, Becky and David’s was it. Their creativity, their goofball humor, and their love for each other combined in a beautiful, untraditional celebration. The setting: a working cattle ranch nestled in the hills of Mount Diablo (complete with emu, cow, horses). The reception: food stations, lounge seating, a photobooth, and more. From the Chipotle burritos to the handmade signs all around the wedding, every detail was planned based on what was meaningful to them.
It was an absolute privilege to document such a special, personal day. Congratulations, Becky and David!
It was always a matter of determination, fate, and timing with Anny and John. After first meeting at a Taiwanese American Youth Leadership camp, adventures in Berkeley together, long distance between Ohio and New York, the stars finally aligned when John got accepted into his residency in New York to join Anny in the same city again.
Married at Thomas Fogarty Winery, the absolutely stunning views were paired perfectly with the love and support of friends and family on their special day.

We are incredibly honored to have been published in Today’s Bride San Francisco! This beautiful printmagazine is the first issue of their new large format launch, and we were so excited to be a part of it.
If you are wondering how a video could possibly be included in a print magazine, take a peek at how they did it! Each page relating to our feature includes a QR code that links to the video when it’s scanned with a smartphone.
We worked alongside many amazing vendors with the “rustic refined” editorial, second from the top on the left side.

And of course, you can watch our behind the scenes video from the shoot below:
Don’t underestimate the simple guitar track that opens this video. If you keep listening and watching, you’ll soon see what makes this the best soundtrack we’ve ever included in a video. This is no small claim, but trust us. We think you’ll agree.
Shau-Ru and Ed were married at the gorgeous Holman Ranch in Carmel Valley. Shau-Ru’s creativity and elegance graced every detail, while Ed’s goofball demeanor really gave way to the hopeless romantic that he is on the inside. All in all, it was a beautiful day filled with love and faith.
With Amanda at the helm, there was no doubt that this would be one impeccably styled wedding. Amanda owns One True Love, a vintage rental shop, and of course it was all put to good use for her own special day. But even better than seeing all the perfect details was witnessing Amanda and Paul’s quirky love for each other– Paul, the champion procrastinator writing out his vows just before the ceremony, Amanda ogling every last detail of the day. There were so many little gems throughout the day.
Congratulations, Amanda and Paul! Thank you for having us there to capture it.
In spite of, or maybe because of, very different backgrounds, Karly and Mario have found common ground and passion in public service, in family, and in each other. Mario was always the calm and steady influence for his family and now Karly’s as well. In his brother’s words, “Mario has always taken care of us. But now it’s time to take care of Karly.”
